One of PMR regular clients commissioned our team to carry out a CAWI quantitative study – online surveys with ophthalmologists.
Project objectives
In order to obtain solid and reliable information, the survey included ophthalmologists with a minimum of 3 years of work experience and experience in treating glaucoma (doctors who stated that at least 20% of their patients suffered from glaucoma).
The study explored the following issues:
type and number of diagnostic tests,
type of therapy used along with its justification,
patient monitoring process,
doctors’ predictions about changes in the treatment of glaucoma in the coming years.
As part of the study, doctors were also asked to perform a simulated therapy based on specific case studies of patients.

Project results
Thanks to efficient recruitment based on PMR Medical Panel resources, in a short time we were able to provide key information about routine ophthalmologist practices in diagnosing and treating glaucoma. At a later stage the results obtained were analysed globally and allowed the client to better understand ophthalmologist and their management of glaucoma treatment.
